New York Film Critics Circle Names Tar Best Film of 2022

The New York Film Critics Circle has kicked off this year's critics awards by naming Todd Field's "Tar" the best film of 2022. The film also received Best Actress for Cate Blanchett.

Several winners didn't come as much of a surprise, including Colin Farrell receiving Best Actor and Martin McDonagh winning Best Screenplay for "The Banshees of Inisherin," but there were also a few winners that came out of nowhere, including S.
