Wonder Woman Comes to Digital HD August 29th and Blu-ray/DVD September 19th

After a number of films from the DCEU that received a thrashing from critics (""Man of Steel," "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," and "Suciide Squad"), it was a rather big surprise that the franchise saw it's first critical smash this summer with "Wonder Woman." Now the film was far from perfect, and in fact had a number of issues, but that didn't stop the majority from enjoying it for various reasons that ranged from its sheer spectacle to Gal Gadot's charismatic performance as the titular superhero.

Today, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has revealed the dates for the film's home release, announcing that it will first be available on Digital HD on August 29th, followed by the release of the Blu-ray/DVD on September 19th.

The following special features have also been announced:

· Warriors of Wonder Woman - Witness the creation of the Amazon army as the women of “Wonder Woman” transform emotionally and physically into the world’s most powerful and heroic warriors.

· The Trinity - Filmmakers and comic book creators explore the legend of Wonder Woman and how she stands shoulder to shoulder with Superman and Batman to create the pillars of the DC Universe.

· The Wonder Behind the Camera - Meet the women behind the wonder as they welcome a group of aspiring filmmakers on set for an exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

· Finding the Wonder Woman Within - Feel the power of Wonder Woman as award-winning poets and inspiring public figures reveal the impact and importance of DC’s greatest heroine.

· Blooper Reel

As many had hoped, it appears as though we're going to be getting a multitude of behind the scenes featurettes that will focus on the making of the film, and while it appears that a director's commentary will not be included, it does look as though Patty Jenkins will be featured prominently in several of these extras.

Those dates again are August 29th for Digital HD and September 19th for Blu-ray/DVD, so DC Comics fans be sure to take note.
