The Winners of the 2026 BAFTA Awards
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has just finished handing out their picks for the best in film for 2025, and as comes as no surprise at this point, the big winner was ultimately Paul Thomas Anderson's "One Battle After Another" with six awards that included Best Film, Director, and Adapted Screenplay. It was followed at a distance by "Sinners" and "Frankenstein" with three wins each. Please see below for a complete list of today's winners: Best Film: O

Five Nights at Freddy's 2: A Sequel That Falters Even More Than Its Predecessor (Blu-ray)
The Film: When the first two "Five Nights at Freddy's" games were released back in 2014, it's highly doubtful that anyone could've seen just how popular they would become, a popularity that would go on to spawn 11 main games and several spin-offs, with the most recent addition releasing just last year. This made it no surprise that an attempt would be made to develop the franchise into a feature film, which made its way into theaters just two years ago. The reaction to it was

Ben-Hur: William Wyler's Astonishing Epic Makes Its Long-Awaited 4K Debut (4K)
The Film: Throughout cinematic history, there have been few monumental epics that have achieved the standing of William Wyler's 1959 masterpiece "Ben-Hur." To this day, its sheer size & scope are still marveled at by all who see it, putting to shame films that now have to cheat with CGI to achieve the same scale. At the time of its making, if you wanted to see significant portions of Rome, it had to be built. If you needed to have a scene featuring thousands of people, you ha

All the President's Men: The Investigative Journalism Classic Celebrates 50 Years with an Upgrade (4K)
The Film: There have been many films about investigative journalism over the course of cinematic history, including "The Post," "The Insider," "She Said," and, of course, "Spotlight," which garnered the Oscar for Best Picture a decade ago. However, none of these have been quite as revered as Alan J. Pakula's 1976 classic "All the President's Men," which tells the timeless story of the two reporters who put their lives on the line to investigate the infamous break-in at the Wa

Song Sung Blue: A Flawed, but Heartfelt Tribute to Pursuing a Dream (Blu-ray)
The Film: Writer/director Craig Brewer is another one of those filmmakers who's not exactly a household name, but there's a good chance you've seen or heard of some of his projects, including "Black Snake Moan," "Dolemite is My Name," "and "Coming 2 America." As his filmography shows, music has been quite a large part of his work, leading to projects like "Hustle & Flow," a remake of "Footloose," and the documentary "Katy Perry: Part of Me," which brings us to his latest ende

Sisu: Road to Revenge: An Action-Fueled Sequel That Repeats the Original's Mistakes (Blu-ray)
The Film: Back in 2022, a bizarre little action flicked called "Sisu" was unleashed, telling the simple tale of a former Finnish soldier trying to reclaim his stolen gold from Nazis near the end of World War II. It was a film that was big on gratuitous bloodshed & absurdity, but sadly very light on story, which ended up hindering it quite heavily, and yet, it still managed to garner decent reviews from those that praised its over-the-top action sequences. It wasn't exactly wh

The Winners of the 78th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards

Keeper: A Dull, Unsatisfying Mess of Cliches (4K/Blu-ray)
The Film: Writer/director Osgood Perkins has had something of a questionable career thus far, delivering a collection of middling-to-sub-par horror films that are typically forgettable and have a number of issues to them, including such works as "Longlegs," "The Blackcoat's Daughter," "I Am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House," and most recently, "The Monkey." For his next feature, "Keeper," he has opted to fill only the director's chair and leave writing duties to Nick

Twilight Zone: The Movie: A Big-Screen Anthology of Mixed Results (Blu-ray)
The Film: Ever since it premiered way back in 1959, Rod Serling's "The Twilight Zone" has been a much-beloved program that is often cited as one of the greatest shows ever made. Over the course of five seasons, it told fascinating moral tales that often had endings you weren't quite expecting, delighting & entertaining audiences of all ages. This made it no surprise that, 20 years later, the idea was brought up to bring the concept to theaters, with four big directors (John L

Once a Thief: An Uneven John Woo Entry That Still Delivers the Goods (4K/Blu-ray)
The Film: Hot on the heels of Shout! Studios' recent release of "Bullet in the Head" comes the next entry in their Hong Kong Cinema Classics series, "Once a Thief," another John Woo outing that may not be quite as well-known to some as his more popular works like "The Killer," "Hard Boiled," or "A Better Tomorrow." Once more, Shout! is giving the film a stunning upgrade and loading it up with over two hours of extras, so let's delve right in and see how this Woo work stacks u
