The Winners of the 78th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

The Television Academy has just finished handing out their awards for the 2025-26 season, and what unexpectedly came down to a nail-biter finish still had "The Pitt" emerging on top to win Outstanding Drama Series for a second year in a row. The show also won Lead Actor in a Drama for Noah Wyle in another repeat win, giving the show six wins this year. The other two big winners of the evening were far more obvious, with "Widow's Bay" absolutely dominating the Comedy categories, bringing home six more wins to make a total of 14 overall. Meanwhile, "DTF St. Louis." took Outstanding Limited or Anthology Series as expected, bringing its total to seven wins overall.
