Nominations for the 74th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards

Will we see several repeats this year? We'll just have to wait until the ceremony on September 12th to find out. Until then, you can find a complete list of this years nominations right 25 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series, Writing, three nods for Directing, and a multitude of acting nods. "Euphoria" came in seconds with 16.

Over in Comedy, also unsurprisingly, we have "Ted Lasso" in front with 20 nominations, followed by "Hacks" and "Only Murders in the Building" with 17 each. Lastly, in Limited Series, we have a bit of a surprise with "The White Lotus" leading with 20 nods of its own, followed by "Dopesick" with 14. Across Drama and Comedy, there were several series making an appearance with just their first season, including "Severance," "Yellowjackets," "Squid Game," and "Only Murders in the Building."

As far as big surprises go, there weren't really any to be found. All of these were highly expected to make the cut, and while a few of the minor players missed in writing and/or directing, all of the top players hit all of the main categories. As to who the big winners are going to be, it seems pretty clear that "Succession" remains the show to beat for Drama. Comedy appears to be a battle between returning series winner "Ted "Lasso" and last year's surprise writing & directing winner "Hacks." Limited Series seems like a bit of a toss up between nominations leaders "The White Lotus" and "Dopesick."
