Film Nominations for the 26th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards

Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, and Margot Robbie in "Bombshell"

The Screen Actors Guild has just finished announcing their nominations, and as usual, there are plenty of big surprises to be found.

Starting on a very sad note, it's extremely unfortunate to see that they snubbed the brilliant ensemble of Marriage Story. It seemed like one of the easiest picks of the year, so it's quite strange that they neglected to include it, and recalls their embarrassing mistake of excluding "The Favourite" last year.

However, that wasn't the only shocker to be found in the Best Cast category. Apparently the committee REALLY like "Bombshell," as not only did it get the two expected nominations for Theron and Robbie, but also nods for Kidman and the entire ensemble. It was also rather surprising to find "Jojo Rabbit" and "Parasite" among the nominees for the top prize.

Other big snubs include Robert De Niro for "The Irishman," Willem Dafoe for "The Lighthouse," Jonathan Pryce for "The Two Popes," as well as the entire cast of "Little Women."

Out of that list of nominees for Best Cast, it's really anyone's guess as to who will take it. You may recall last year that "Black Panther" had just that one nomination, making it seem like it was not favored very much, and yet it ended up with the top prize, so it's really up for grabs.

Who will the big winners be? We'll just have to wait until the ceremony on Sunday, January 19th to find out.
