Parasite Named Best Film of 2019 by Los Angeles Critics


Parasite

The Los Angeles Film Critics Association (LAFCA) has just finished announcing their awards, resulting in Bong Joon-Ho's "Parasite" picking up yet another Best Picture win. The film also received Best Director and Best Supporting Actor (Song Kang Ho).

Other major awards were given to Antonio Banderas (Best Actor for "Pain and Glory"), Mary Kay Place (Best Actress for "Diane"), and Jennifer Lopez (Best Supporting Actress for "Hustlers"). Noah Baumbach also received the group's Best Screenplay honor for the outstanding "Marriage Story."

Next up for Awards Season we have the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association (WAFCA) announcing their awards later tonight, as well as the Golden Globe nominations tomorrow.
