The First Trailer for Avengers: Endgame Has Arrived

It seems like we've been waiting for an absurdly long amount of time for our first look at the new "Avengers" film, but at long last, Marvel Studios has finally dropped the first official trailer for the film this morning, and it certainly doesn't disappoint.

When last we saw our heroes, things were not going quite so well. The battle with Thanos had resulted in half the living creatures in existence being wiped out, including several of The Avengers, so understandably the trailer shows us the survivors trying to pick up the pieces in the aftermath. Now, of course the trailer doesn't show us all that much besides this, but this should definitely be seen as a good thing, for it still manages to make the film look like the massive epic its going to be, while not giving away anything in the process.

We've already heard rumors of the film being about three hours long, which I'm sure most people would be just fine with given the great reception "Infinity War" received. Besides, given the massive scope of the story, it's quite possible that the film simply needs to be three hours long to bring it to a conclusion.

Will the surviving heroes be able to rescue their friends (and the rest of the lives that were snapped away), defeat Thanos, and restore the peace? Unfortunately we still have another four and a half months to wait before we get to find out, but one thing is for sure: If "Infinity War" was any indication, "Endgame" is probably going to be one of the single most epic films ever made.

"Avengers: Endgame" hits theaters on April 26th, 2019.
