Marvel Reveals A Mind-Bending TV Spot for Doctor Strange

Not long ago, we got a second full-length trailer straight out of comic-con for the upcoming big screen adaptation of Marvel's "Doctor Strange." It looked incredible to say the least, utilizing some incredible special effects to tell the story of a brilliant surgeon who trains in the ways of sorcery to defend the world against evil after a tragic accident ruins his previous career.

Today, the film's first TV spot has been unveiled, and while it doesn't look to include any additional footage that we didn't already see in the two astonishing trailers, it still manages to pull the viewer into its mesmerizing world, showing us what an intriguing movie this could be. As I've mentioned before, Marvel has hardly ever let me down ("Iron Man 3" being the only exception that comes to the top of my head thanks mainly to the poor handling of its villains), so more than likely this will be another big hit for the studio.

How could things possibly go wrong with a cast that includes Academy Award nominees Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Tilda Swinton (who won her Oscar for "Michael Clayton"), in addition to big names like Mads Mikkelsen, Benjamin Bratt, and Michael Stuhlbarg? Director Scott Derrickson ("Sinister," "Deliver Us from Evil") may be untested in enormous projects like this, but again, from the trailers thus far, it looks like things are coming together quite nicely.

Luckily we don't have that much longer to wait until we can see how it all turns out, as "Doctor Strange" arrives in theaters on November 4th, 2016.
